Event Description

The Amadeus Chorale is Rochester's Sign Language choir, with the entire chorus signing at least one song on every concert. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the beloved carol, "Silent Night," the Amadeus Chorale Youth Singers use sign language while cellist Lynda Dimitroff and pianist Darla Bair play the song. The concert includes a jazz version of Jingle Bells, Zion hort die Wachter singen by Dietrich Buxtehude, and Vivre, Partager - the song that the Canadian children's choir sang to greet the Syrian refugees into Canada. In addition to signing Mary Lynn Lightfoot's arrangement of Dona Nobis Pacem, the singers will premier their season's signature song, from the movie "Marshall," Stand Up for Something.
